A qualified foreign languages teacher, Julie grew up in the suburbs of London where, even as a teenager, she wrote often and plenty for pleasure. In 2004, Julie moved to Spain where she quickly put her passion for writing and languages to good use by becoming a reporter for ex-patriot newspapers and other publications.
During her career Julie has contributed material to Oxford and Cambridge examination papers and she currently writes content for a number of travel and culinary focused websites, one of which receives 500,000 unique visitors each month.
Of course, as with all writers at MBWS, Julie doesn't leave her writing behind when she finishes the working day. To date, Julie has co-written two comedy dramas and one pantomime.
Amongst her many outside interests is music, and you will often find Julie deejaying up and down the Costa Blanca.
